What’s happening in June:

  • June 10– Garden Workshop: Hügelkultur – The Art of Mound Composting & Cultivation
    11:00am – 12:30pm

Do not waste time and money hauling away fallen tree branches from this winter’s snow and ice storms. Create beautiful raised garden beds using yard and wood debris. These garden mounds improve soil nutrients and water retention for plants.

  • June 17– Parkrose Heights Community Garden Work Party
    9:00am – 12:00pm

Join us as we keep the garden maintained and accessible for all gardeners, and lend a hand to those in need. Wear your grungies and bring some gloves, everyone is welcome!

“Gardening clears my thoughts and literally refreshes me. It brings me pleasure like nothing else can. If I am ‘stressed’ about something, that stress is gone after I spend time in the garden.”

Velda Altig

“The garden soothes every agony I have. It inspires everything I do. It’s my living life.”
